Celebrating the Success of The Brit Fest’s Inaugural Event at Ashley Hall Showground
The Ashley Hall Showground, a premier large event space in Cheshire, is thrilled to celebrate the phenomenal success of The Brit Fest’s debut. This landmark event drew 15,000 attendees over a dazzling weekend, marking a memorable occasion in our extensive outdoor event fields in the North West.
Making its first appearance at our spacious venue, The Brit Fest featured an exceptional lineup of iconic British music acts, attracting visitors from all over the UK. The festival’s headliners included Scouting for Girls, Bonnie Tyler, and Heather Small, with additional standout performances from T’Pau, Nik Kershaw, Kim Wilde, Paul Young, Sonia, Deniece Pearson, Owen Paul, The Real Thing, Cast, Dodgy, The Feeling, Fleur East, Hot Chocolate, Starsailor, and Reef.
Bonnie Tyler’s electrifying Saturday night set was a festival highlight, while attendees also enjoyed a diverse array of bands, choirs, DJs, solo acts, cover outfits, authors, wellness experts, and motivational speakers on the site’s ABC+ Warranty Stage. The event also featured a funfair and numerous food, drink, and shopping stalls, providing a wide variety of attractions for families and festival-goers alike.
The Brit Fest was created by Olivier-nominated brothers Anthony and Edward Prophet to celebrate the best of British music, food, drink, and culture. Anthony Prophet shared his thoughts on the event’s success, saying, “The festival weekend was absolutely brilliant, with a fantastic atmosphere throughout the showground. We were particularly struck by the sense of unity and community among the crowds. Staging a celebration like The Brit Fest has been a long-held dream, and we are incredibly proud of the strong program we offered for our inaugural event. It’s also a great base from which to plan our future festivals.”
The feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Lyndsey Holden praised the event, saying, “Brit Fest was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere, range of activities, and fantastic entertainment made for an unforgettable experience.” Judie Tingle added, “Absolutely fantastic! I loved it! Happy and perfect atmosphere, everyone happy – no trouble. Very friendly vibe.”
